Information Brochure for Specially Abled (Divyangajan)

1. Wheel chair has been provided by the college to be used by the students who need.

2. At the time of admission separate row is maintained at the counter with separate office staff ensuring speedy admission process for the divyang students.

3. Process similar to the above is followed at the time of filling of exam forms and distribution of hall tickets, etc.

4. Students can visit the office for any queries concerning them and are given attended to on priority basis.

5. Students can seek assistance of any staff member in case of any grievances and approach discipline committees, committee against sexual harassment for matters in this egard if any.

6. Separate toilets are available for people with disabilities. They are clearly identifiable and accessible. The doors are wide enough and lockable from inside and releasable from outside. There is enough maneuvering space inside. All floor surfaces are slip resistant. Mirrors, flushing arrangements, dispensers mounted at appropriate heights.

7. There are some students who feel difficult to take the examination and they need scribes with them. The college provides or allows the students to take the help of scribes in the examination as per the government regulations.

8. Councelling by all staff members is provided to special students on various matters like future career prospects they can choose, etc.

9. Information regarding fee concession, examination procedures, resercations, policies, etc. Pertaining to differently abled persons.

10. At the time of welcome session also all the students are given information in order to create sensitivity regarding divyangajan.
